Think you might be interested in studying something to do with space at University? We have a summer camp for you!
The AstroLands team at I-LOFAR, an initiative of TCD, are delighted to announce that we will be running our virtual AstroLands Academy this summer about all things space. The camp will explore what space science is all about from many different perspectives such as biology, chemistry, law, ethics, mathematics, and, of course, physics – all brought to you through your computer screen!
Students will have the opportunity to chat with researchers and academics from a number of fields and leading universities, as well as undergraduate and PhD students who can tell you first hand what it is like to study STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). This camp, tailored to older teenagers, will give students a taste of the skills required to understand space, delve into discussions on space exploration and life in our universe, all while using creative, analytical and artistic skills combined. There is something for everyone, just bring a sense of curiosity!
