Throughout the school year, teams across Ireland have investigated local climate or environmental challenges as a part of the Climate Detectives collaboration supported by ESERO Ireland and Oide Science for Post Primary School.

This year we were excited to support the first year of a competitive category within the Climate Detectives Project.  At our shared learning day and judging event held at TUD Athlone on the 22nd of April, our panel of expert judges awarded CBS Roscommon as National Champions!

The students will now go forward to represent Ireland with the other national winners from across Europe in Italy at the Climate Detectives Learning and Celebration Event. Each country will have the opportunity to share their projects and discuss their findings with ESA experts.
