Competition for Irish Students to join the ESA Rosetta Adventure for Science Week

On November 12, the European Space Agency’s Rosetta, the first-ever spacecraft to orbit a comet, will attempt a soft touchdown on the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko.
To celebrate this historic occasion which is taking place during Science Week Ireland CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory, Cork and the Dunsink Observatory, Dublin have partnered with ESERO Ireland to offer free & competition based Rosetta workshops and a Cosmic Careers day to Irish students.
Teachers have until October 21st to submit their answer to “In 50 words or less tell us what you know about the European Space Agency’s Rosetta Mission.”
