On March 5th, for Engineers Week 2020, Waterford Institute of Technology will host an ESERO Ireland Space Careers Roadshow in conjunction with Science Foundation Ireland, and CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory.
These roadshows will provide students with an excellent opportunity to engage with space industry professionals, and third level institutions, so that they can get a taste of the exciting opportunities that a STEM career in Space has to offer.
In addition to excellent speakers, flash talks, and project demos, students will have the opportunity to mingle with space industry groups, artists, and more during an interactive lunchtime exhibition. Participants will have the opportunity to win a telescope and a souvenir mission patch signed by NASA Astronaut Dan Tani.
We are thrilled to announce that this roadshow will feature John O Donoghue, whose company provided a heat resistant coating for the upcoming Solar Orbiter Mission from the European Space Agency.
