This free, 2-hour course shows participants how to use inquiry-based learning techniques to promote children’s learning and understanding of STEM. Participants will explore activities that support the theme of Engineers’ Week. These have been developed from European Space Agency Education, ESERO and Discovery Primary Science & Maths resources.

We will design, make and test model rockets that can be made from everyday materials.

Attending an Engineers Week event counts towards the criteria for the SFI Discover Science & Maths Award.

Offered in February and March in Cork, Galway, Dublin, and Limerick.
