Where does Climate fit within the Curriculum/Specification? What is Climate Change? Why teach it? This free three week online course will help you answer all these questions and more.
The MOOC has three modules and will be open for 5 weeks from 22 February.
Module 1 looks at What is Climate Change, where does it fit in the curriculum/specification and why teach it.
Module 2 examines how we measure Climate Change and its effects. We also look at climate data, where we can get it for the classroom and how it can be analysed.
Module 3 explores how we can mitigate against Climate Change
Do this course from the comfort of your own home and in your own time within the 5 weeks. It should take about 3 hours to complete.

The free course was developed by ESERO Ireland in partnership with ESERO UK and STEM Learning UK. It will be run on the FutureLearn platform and will be moderated by educators in Ireland and the UK.
