What happens to astronauts’ hearts in space, and how can studying this help improve healthcare for everyone here on Earth?

Join Dr Lisa McNamee for an afternoon talk about what happens at the interface of cardiovascular health and space medicine. How can studying what happens to the body in microgravity help us to develop healthcare for future space travellers, and for people back on Earth?

Aimed at second level schools and Youthreach centres, join us online to hear Dr Lisa McNamee’s talk and have a chance to ask your questions directly!

This event will be 45 minutes (13:00 – 13:45), including a Q&A session for classes joining online via a Zoom webinar. Register via Eventbrite to get the link to attend.
