With CanSat, students get to discover what it takes to create a real space project from start to finish.

The CanSat competition challenges students in TY and Senior Cycle or equivalent to design, build, and launch a mini-satellite, all within the size of a beverage can.

With mentoring provided for educators and students, this is someone everyone can get involved in, and the project has clear curriculum links to Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, and more, with key transversal skills including team work, communication, problem solving, presentation, iterative design, and creativity built on throughout the process.

This free online webinar for teachers and educators in secondary schools and Youthreach goes through the process and guides you on how to get involved, and will answer any questions you might have.
